Our Inspiration

Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a global humanitarian, spiritual master, and ambassador of peace whose vision of personal and social transformation has ignited a global movement in 180+ countries, impacting over half a billion people.

Through a myriad of programs and teachings and a network of organizations including the Art of Living and the International Association for Human Values, Gurudev has created impactful programs that empower and transform individuals to tackle challenges at global, national, community and individual levels.

Gurudev has been an invited speaker at the United Nations, the European Parliament, the World Economic Forum, and the Vatican, as well as universities such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, and the University of Southern California.

The Vision

Inspired by Gurudev’s vision, the World Culture Film Festival brings together filmmakers from around the world who are inspired to make a difference and share their unique talents, stories, and cultures.

The World Culture Film Festival is inspired by the World Culture Festival, a global cultural festival series that began in 2006 with the vision of uniting and uplifting humanity. The past four World Culture Festivals have brought together over 7 Million attendees and participants from around the globe for unparalleled celebrations of unity and diversity at a time when divisions threaten to unravel the fabric of our society.

In continuation of the efforts to uplift the human spirit, now via the power of film, we are excited to present the first-ever World Culture Film Festival (WCFF).
